Fire Tape is a high-temperature protection solution that can withstand extreme heat and molten metal splashes like molten steel, aluminum, and glass up to 3000F (1650C). Fire Tape is braided incombustible E-type fiberglass yarns and has a thick layer of red silicone rubber coating. Fire Tape has excellent heat insulation, flame resistance, and mechanical protection. With the proper use and care, Fire Tape will last under long-term exposure.

If exposed to flame, the silicone will change into SiO, a protective refractory layer that offers a thermal shield to employees and equipment from burns, as well as minimizing the heat transfer. Fire Tape is made for the industrial workforce. It provides protection for hoses, pipes, cables, and wiring from thermal damage, and it efficiently bundles and organizes them.

Fire Tape is resistant to hydraulic fluids, oils, fuels, and moisture in extremely demanding applications. All of this, with a flexible structure, ease of application, and superior resistance to abrasion, allows for a versatile, durable, and long-term product in demanding requirements.
