Smart Shield Fabric Insulation Tape

Smart Shield Fabric Insulation Tape is a high-performance thermal insulation tape suitable for extreme temperature applications that can reach beyond 1300°C.

This tape is made from alumina-silica fibers, which is completely asbestos free and non-combustible. Tested in accordance with BS 476, Part 4, this tape offers complete flame protection. Our product is a perfect solution to a number of industrial applications demanding thermal stability, chemical resistance, and flame protection.

To maximize strength and performance each tape is reinforced with Inconel wire, or stainless steel (SS) wire, or fiberglass filament. Each variant offers excellent rupture strength, tensile strength, and superior dimensional stability before and after exposure to heat. The tape is also resistant to thermal shock, chemical erosion, and mechanical abrasion, making it suitable for both static and dynamic systems.

Traditional applications for our tape include gaskets, expansion joint sealing, furnace linings, welding curtains, pipe and exhaust wrapping, and insulation for other high-temperature applications within foundries, refineries, chemical plants, and power stations.
