Vermiculite Silica Cloth is a high-tech heat resistant textile, designed to withstand extreme temperatures while remaining flexible and user-friendly. The coating of the cloth is made from silica fibers with a minimum purity of 96% that allow it to continue at an operating temperature of 1400°C and peak exposures up to 1850°C. The vermiculite coating helps it resist abrasion and prolong its life in industrial settings where it may be subject to heavy use. While it is a tough fabric, the overall quality of the cloth remains lightweight, extremely versatile, and makes installation easy to handle in all applications requiring use at high temperatures.

Vermiculite Silica Cloth is perfect for heavy-duty applications and works great as underfoot gangway covers, anti-splash curtains, insulation protection, welding blankets, and for collecting hot debris. It can also be purchased with pre-fitted eyelets to allow easy fastening. With a low thermal conductivity and optimal heat insulation properties, the cloth is incredibly safe and efficient for energy-saving options in critical situations. In addition, once the cloth is cut, there is very limited fraying edge with the seams, which enables easy and accurate fabrication.
