Fabric Expansion Joints

Made with multiple layers of fabric, insulation materials, and a variety of protective barriers, Smart-Shield's expansion joints are constructed to accommodate severe industrial conditions. The expansion joints accommodate axial, lateral and angular motion in duct systems, while providing a 'gas-tight' seal and withstanding system integrity. Because expansion joints are flexible, and their lightweight construction allows for ease of installation, inspection, and replacement. This leads to less downtime, lower labor costs (e.g. Hot Work Permit), and overall reduced operational expenses.
